When Michelle is not in the studio, she homeschools her 3 incredible kids, rides motorcycles with her husband, and loves traveling, dining out, and enjoying a good beer with family & friends.Īmanda Bianchi discovered hot yoga through a Bikram style practice, when she was living in New York about 10 years ago. Alongside her husband, Michelle appreciates the hard work of first responders and works with veterans as well as CDA Power Yoga’s community of first responders and military members. Her classes are challenging, yet accessible for all levels- plus they’re fun! She encourages her students to stretch beyond their comfort zones and into new possibility. She is committed to sharing the practice of yoga and creating a community based on health, wellness, and healing, teaching yoga as a lifestyle and a tool to enable people to live their best life. Michelle believes strongly in the connection between practice on the mat and practice off the mat outside of the studio. Michelle will soon receive her 500 RYT certificate through Yoga Alliance. She has also attended the Crisis and Trauma training with the Veterans Yoga Project and is currently working to deepen her understanding of the practice, techniques, and leadership skills through WVPY’s 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training. In addition to attending Level 1, Level 2 and Art of Assisting with the Baptiste Institute, Michelle completed Expand Your Power Teacher Training at Willamette Valley Power Yoga in Oregon. She feels energized, full of possibility and inspired by community each time she steps on the mat. ![]() The Baptiste Methodology has taught Michelle to live with freedom, let go of fear, and never give up. Shortly after beginning to take classes herself, she knew she wanted to become a teacher and share the transformative and powerful practice she’d experienced. A divorce brought her back to her career and this life experience has made her a force to be reckoned with making her the best designer she can possibly be. She's the kind to keep it genuine and real. This lead to stepping away from her career for 9 years to be a Stay Home Mom. Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from a FIDER accredited college in 1991.įrom there, worked at Home Depot during their astounding growth for 10 years, covering the entire Midwest being responsible for the kitchen and bath displays for new stores and remodels.įrom there, spent nearly 10 years working for Kichler Lighting as Manager of Showroom Design designing their 30K square foot showroom in the Dallas World Trade Center and the High Point, NC showroom. After a detail and thorough plan is created, we "DIVE IN" to our projects. Michelle is eternally indebted to the talented team of trades and product representatives that help bring her and her client's visions to life.Īnd, we believe that the outdoors matter too. Receiving text messages, "I don't want to leave my home, I love it so much." is her goal with each and every project. The greatest reward of her profession is gaining life-long friends that were once clients.
